This analysis (CORA_ATL_01) has been produced as a delayed mode analysis of the content of Coriolis data base in april 2005.<br /> <u>Processing information :</u> The analysis is performed on horizontal levels. Temperature and salinity variables are produced independently. The estimated variable is the anomaly relative to a monthly climatology, it is obtained as the solution of an optimal estimation problem where covariance matrices of data and field are specified.<br /> <u>Suitability, Expected type of users / uses targeted main uses :</u> <ol> <li>provide a data based reference for comparison with numerical models outputs</li> <li>study ocean variability</li> </ol>								]]></idAbs>
