  <idAbs><![CDATA[<u>General information:</u> The Blended Mean Wind Field is a global product (80S to 80N and 180W to 180E) including wind components (meridionnal and zonal), wind module, wind stress and the corresponding components. <br />They are estimated from near real time satellite observations (QuikScat scatteromter and SSM/I radiometers) and ECMWF operational wind analysis.
